About the event

This private workshop is for you and your partner only. It lasts three days and takes the couple through three steps needed to restore intimacy, trust and empathy – vital ingredients in sustaining respect, kindness and love.

Unlike psychotherapy, it’s a structured programme. Each step is intentional. This contrasts significantly with the typical weekly hour which is often too little time to gain traction and build real and lasting change into the relationship.

The three steps are …

  1. Clear communication.
  2. Letting go of past grievances.
  3. Visioning a positive future and the tools to sustain it.

This is equally valuable whether the couple are committed to staying together, when one or both parties are ambivalent about their future status or, (maybe especially) when they are thinking seriously about separation.

What’s the intention?

  • To re-establish open hearted connection and trust
  • To learn tools which support you with communication and problem solving
  • To grow the relationship into something you both want it to be

I work with you both together and separately to get to the roots of your relationship dynamics.

DAY ONE is about saying both the things you've not been able to say AND being heard and understood on the things you've been saying repeatedly. Equally, it's about witnessing your partner.

DAY TWO is focused on letting go of past resentments. We focus on honouring the past and releasing it's hold on us. Ultimately it is a grieving ritual about saying goodbye to what no longer serves you and opening up to a positive future.

DAY THREE has a more flexible structure which creates the opportunity to vision the futures you both want as well as managing the overlaps and differences well.
