The Church is known as St Cross Church or The Hospital of St Cross https://parishofstfaith.org . It is accessed down a tiny street and there is absolutely no parking.

We recommend you either take the train to Winchester, from there it is 8 mins by taxi or a half an hour walk. The closest car park from the edge of town is East Winchester St Catherine's Park and Ride, a 23 minute walk or half an hour on the bus in the direction of WPRSouth Car Park to The Bell Inn stop. If you are coming from the city centre it's Tower Street multi storey car park, which is a 19 minute walk.

The service will start promptly at 2pm, please be seated by 1.50pm. The front third of the church will be reserved for family. The service will take about an hour. 

The wake will take place at Matthew's former offices at The Pump House, Garnier Rd, Winchester SO23 9QG. Please join us for tea after the service.

Following the wake the venue has an extended licence for anyone who'd like to stay on and socialise.

Dress Code: We will be wearing subdued formal clothing.
